As daunting as this might seem, it is also very liberating. Those characters and events have been in your mind for a while and it is time to let them go and populate your blank pages. If you are curious, my next creative work is about a character who does not fit anywhere. Have you ever been there? I know I have!! You are in but you are out; you feel safe where you are but you day dream about another place where everything (and I mean everything) is completely different than what surrounds you. Well, let me go to work. No time to waste. Your next prompt could mirror my current path: write about a new place, a place where you wish to be and perhaps a place where you do not belong.
